Comment: What a wonderfully ugly card! The text is definitely absurd, and also the colour! Marie Curie is a great pick for a historical figure. Did you know she's Polish? Her full name is Marie Skłodowska-Curie, and the Poles get very upset that the English speaking world has cut that bit out! (My other half is Polish...😀) Thank you for all the lovely stamps too x

I know the PCs text was super absurd, I was looking for the PCs to be beautiful butterflies alone when I saw them online but this turned out to be a gloomy unreturnable batch lol. Yes, I did know that she was Polish by birth and later became a French naturalized citizen. I didn't know about the Poles being upset about shortening her name, it's understandable though now that I think of it - thank you for sharing this and I'll be sure to use her full name in future! Frankly I'm not sure how I found it but I speculate that after I read "Before The Coffee Gets Cold" series (which was on display in many bookstores where I live), "The Kamogawa Food Detectives" may have shown up in my recommendations on Goodreads. The premise sounded unique so I read the book and I read the second book in the series as well recently which echoes the same sentiment as the first one. If you are open to slow reads, I think you might like "The Forest of Wood and Steel" and "The Easy Life in Kamusari" in case you haven't read them. I hope you have a wonderful week!
