Photo Pocket Letters are the latest snail mail craze, so I thought it would be fun to do a photo pocket letter. Pocket letters have been popularized by Janette Lane and they truly are fun to make, give, and receive. For this swap, you will send one partner a pocket letter. You will use a storebought nine-pocket trading card protector--this is the 8.5 x 11 size that fits inside a regular 3-ring binder. Fill the pockets as follows:
If you want to learn more about pocket letters or if you need a little inspiration, check out Janette Lane's blog (linked above) or my blog post, "Nine Little Pockets of Happy." Fold your pocket letter and place inside a business-size envelope. Be sure to reinforce the envelope so contents aren't lost along the way. I typically wrap clear packing tape around the entire envelope. Pocket letters are a little more expensive to mail, so be prepared to spend a little extra in postage. | |
