CPG: RE Agent's Honest Appraisal PC #1 - USA

Let's brighten up your partner's day and get a little creative by sending a naked and stamped store-bought postcard (PC) of any building (e.g., house, hotel, skyscraper, etc.). On the back-left of the postcard, write a short, informal internal memo as a cynical, exhausted Real Estate (RE) Agent.

Start with a one-sentence exaggerated sales pitch. Immediately follow with a one or two-sentence brutal, honest assessment of its real problems. Include an internal memo to other RE agents if you wish.

Here are some examples to get your creative juices flowing:

• A truly historic opportunity! The foundation shifts when the wind blows, and the neighbor's banjo practice is continuous and loud. Do not show on Tuesdays.

• Sleek, minimalistic design meets breathtaking aquatic views! The minimalistic design has no closet space and the aquatic views mean the entire west wall is currently leaking during high tide. Stop showing after 4 p.m., when the setting sun turns the whole unit into an oven.

• Experience industrial chic featuring exposed brick, visible ductwork, and the authentic, creative spirit of the neighborhood! Exposed brick is flaking dust everywhere, and the visible ductwork means you hear everything the upstairs unit cooks. The authentic, creative spirit is a noisy rock band practicing below the parking garage. Bring earplugs for the showing.
