I hope everyone is enjoying this swap as much as I am! I will try to keep this as a regular monthly thing, as long as it is successful. If anyone has suggestions to change it up a bit let me know. But for now we'll keep it the same.

Here are the rules of the swap for anyone new.....

Each participant will be assigned 3 partners and will mail 1 bookmark to each partner. Bookmarks can be store bought, homemade, or a free one from the local library. Homemade bookmarks must be neat! If you prefer something specific, feel free to leave a comment below, but this is still SENDER'S CHOICE.

If you receive a bookmark rate your partners a 5, even if it is not something you requested.

I loved doing the bookmark swap also, but I am still waiting for my third bookmark. I am hoping its in the mail. I am willing to do this again. It was fun and I have made a couple more bookmarks since then. thanks for doing this

I love making bookmarks and I enjoy receiving handmade ones in return. Please keep them flat, not too bulky. Any size is great!

Have to agree with pahunt925. This would be fun, but I do not have the time (or skills) to make them. :( The stores always have such beautiful ones, but would not want my partner(s) to want handmade and I not be able to do handmade.

well, I am going to join. It does say senders choice. So, if you get me as a swap partner, you won't be getting anything handmade, but I do have some nice storebought book marks that I will send.

You are right pahunt925, I think you should join and like you said senders choice. So send a storebought bookmark. That should be up to the individual.

I would not want a free one.

If I go to the trouble of making one, and get a cheap paper freebie from the library I would feel cheated.

That is what has prevented me from joining this.

I have some handmade and some store bought.

If the rules about the freebies change, then I will sign up.

I'm sorry, I hope no one thinks I am trying to be ugly but I feel I need to leave this comment, due to the numerous messages I have received regarding this swap. As I stated in the rules, "If you prefer something specific, feel free to leave a comment below, but this is still SENDER'S CHIOCE"! Remember that not everyone is capable of making a bookmark. Please be nice!!! If you don't want to take a chance on what kind of bookmark you will receive.....DON'T JOIN!

I dont mind the freebies at all, especially ones from local book stores if you shop there or libraries if you check books out. those places need all the traffic they can get! ;)

A word of advise to myself....be more organized! Luckily I save my swaps as I am so impressed by the talent and ideason this sight. I neglected to rate a partner. Advice to partners message me if you don't get ratedI am sure it if it ever happens again it will be an error. I believe ratings are very special for our efforts.
