I love going to coffee shops, especially when it's colder out. I love the good music, yummy hot drinks & the selection of fun reading materials. So I thought it would be fun to do a "coffeeshopish" themed swap.

For this swap we will each have 1 partner & will be sending them the following:

  1. A mixed CD of good chill music. (Not top 40's pop or hiphop - stuff you would hear at your local cafe.) Please include a track list. Decorating the cover the CD would be a nice touch, but is not required.

  2. An assortment of at least 5 hot drink mixes - teas, cocoas, coffees. Make sure they are different & not just boring old Lipton/Folgers/etc stuff!

  3. Something for your partner to read. A zine, magazine you'd like to pass along. This does not have to be a brand new item!!! Just make sure it is in decent readable condition.

There is no price limit on this swap, as you may already have all of the items necessary.

This will be an international swap.

I am doing this as an "open swap," but am also reserving the right to ban as I see fit. You must have a rating of at least 4.8, and have at least 10 5.00 rated swaps - I do not count online swaps as real rated swaps.

Please do not sign up if you do not meet these requirements!

Well, I joined the swap since it's such a great idea! I already have the perfect trck list on ming and the perfect magazine to send, but they don't sell those coco and coffee mix bags in Israel. I just came back from the only store that might have sold it but they dont have it either... can I join and send something really great to my partner instead? like a big bag of the best israeli coffee and some other surprise of their style?

Carmel - I think that shouldn't be a problem. I know if you were my partner and offered to send me "a big bag of the best israeli coffee and some other surprise of their style" I would be thrilled.

But I guess you would have to make sure it was OK with whoever your partner was. Do they have individual tea bags?

Hi there, I am SO excited about this swap! Looking at Carmels post- if drink mixes are not available- coffee is always good! :) And just for the record- since I cannot get Folgers here- I would not mind that! LOL
