SEPTEMBER 2026 UPDATE: I have been completely off the map digitally the last couple of years after experiencing DV and going through a divorce. I finally feel like myself again and am slowly rediscovering my hobbies; art and writing has always brought me such joy, i look forward to getting back in touch with it all; thank you for your patience with me

My name is Lyss and im now back home in New England! I grew up in Rhode Island where the ocean was a big part of my life. I love the outdoors and all of the wildlife it contains; yes, that includes the typically unloved critters! I thoroughly enjoy entomology and have always been fascinated with bugs and bones. Some would describe me as "witchy" or "goth", I would consider myself Pagan with a dash of hoodoo practices. Aside from collecting and selling crystals and minerals, i also do a bit of ethically sourced bone collecting! I believe that every part of life should be respected and honored and this is one way that what would typically be considered "waste" is given another life. I collect bones, feathers, snake shed, shells, etc!

• the #1 thing i have a hard time finding (without travelling) is stickers with your native language on them or that reps your area! I use them to decorate my reusable water bottle, laptop, or papercrafts ~ I love seeing all different languages and cultures!

• sticker sheets! I collect stickers; especially Pipsticks, violette stickers, stickii, and brands i cant get in the USA. Just no childish ones please!

• lace and pretty ribbon (i close mini journals and flipbooks with them!)

• oddities! I have a collection of snake skin sheds & recently made a talisman from a birds foot; i love collecting curios, strange images, teeth and also feathers!

• cute pocket journals / mini notebooks! Both blank, dotted or lined

• something handcrafted, sewn or crocheted by you!

• themed papers and/or washi for scrapbooking and junk journaling. 6x6 papers and such are awesome. PLEASE DO NOT FOLD PATTERNED PAPER; its creases often hinder being able to look good being used :(

• handmade papercrafts; like cute little cards, folios, flip books, etc

I always try to lean into my partners likes as much as i can in senders choice etc! Here are some things or themes i always love to see in happy mail in no particular order

drawings, paintings, ocean, wildlife, camping, forests, trad tattoo art, crystals, cherubs, washi, minerology and gemology, vampires, cryptids, paranormal, handmade papercrafts, tea, foreign languages, witchy / pagan / celestial, bugs, moon & stars, glow in the dark, food, recipes

i like everything from pastel and neons to gothic/dark. Halloween things are loved all year round, too :-) .I appreciate many themes including anything creepy cute or weird. just not pirate-y skull and crossbones, anime, or kiddish things.

For any swaps regarding teas, chocolates etc. i decided to add this in! I like trying new things :-) if i ever have another USA partner, i try to include foreign tea from my stash to make it a lil more exciting. and i LOVE honey of all flavors! any time i travel, i make sure to stop at a local shop to grab some of the local honey. My favs I've "collected" are blueberry honey from Maine, raspberry honey from Connecticut, and a jar of honey from Germany, Sweden & Texas from fellow SB members!

flavored cold tea, dessert tea, foreign teas, seasonal teas, nutty flavors, hazelnut, pistachio, almond, cool mint, spearmint, lavender, chocolate, blueberry, strawberry, anise, vanilla, jasmine, black green or herbal teas that arent earthy/grassy, anything unusual or specific to your area or culture

chamomile, unflavored tea (i prefer flavored black tea, flavored green tea or white tea!), peach, mango, other tropical fruit flavors like guava, blackcurrant and passionfruit, blackberry or mixed berry flavors, non-flavored tea such as breakfast tea and white chocolate

You wont find me reading love novels.. Im a sucker for fast-paced thrill, crime, mystery & suspense. Im not bothered by what some would consider too graphic. Lisa Gardner is my favorite author! Id love to hear your book recommendations as im always looking for my next read! Id love to find another author i can obsess over!

• no anime, manga, disney or cartoon-y type things
• no embellishments that are wooden, rhinestone / bling, tiny paper punches etc.
• napkins
• Pocket letters
• Office supplies- please dont send sticky notes, paperclips, highlighters.
• generic inspirational mottos on anything. "Live laugh love", dream on, etc
• journal / planner / work / to-do type stickers
• Kid items. i dread receiving reward stickers, and things like toy story, frozen, elmo, etc.
• nothing religious or political, respectfully. With the exception of pagan related items or other magickal elements
• Unless i join a PC swap where it is a requirement, please dont send postcards! I dont use them and end up passing them all on, aside from rarely getting a special one i display
• nothing regarding certain fan bases. Examples: star wars, Harry Potter, disney etc.
• dragons
• stereo-typical witch themed items. You know what im talking about.. the green old Halloween witch with that hat and broom!
